Melanie lives in North Little Rock, Arkansas, with her husband Matt and their two insanely spoiled yellow labs. They just bought their first house (circa-1952), and are working to make it more energy-efficient and greener (besides just painting the bedroom green). Melanie is the managing editor for At Home in Arkansas, an interior design and lifestyle magazine, and is studying kitchen and bath design in hopes of designing these spaces green one day. She credits her husband’s early obsession with CFLs for jump starting their green life.
