Michael has been involved in web content development since before blogs were born. He has an insatiable appetite for creating online projects that draw attention to incredible organizations, initiatives, and products. His first start in blogging came with the founding of GroovyGreen — a site dedicated to informing and empowering those looking to lead a more sustainable lifestyle. His work has since appeared in print magazines, on television, and as a regular guest on the now-retired Lazy Environmentalist radio show. He also regularly consults and gives talks on blogging and its role in the new media landscape.

Michael lives with his wife, little boy, and gaggle of animals in beautiful Ithaca, NY.

________

EDITORIAL

Parrish, contributing editor, New York City Michael Parrish DuDell (Senior Editor)  has been vegan for 8 years and is the co-founder of VEGdaily. Michael is currently working on launching Citizens for a Compassionate Planet –  a non-profit organization geared towards promoting the health, environmental and ethical benefits of a plant-based diet through the establishment of advocacy and educational programs within local communities. He lives in an over-priced apartment in New York City and is kinda snobby about it.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Tracie Boyle (Twitter)  was born and raised in NJ and is the founder of the North Jersey Animal Advocacy Alliance. She’s also volunteers for events for Farm Sanctuary and Woodstock Farm Sanctuary as well as local animal shelters.

Dianne Hanlon-Druyff (Twitter) has been at the forefront of digital communication since Al Gore invented the internet. She has produced a multitude of award-winning websites, digital marketing and social media initiatives for top brands over the years, and is now combining her personal passions (green living, animals, food, yoga and culture) with her skills. Dianne’s blog, greenergirl, covers truly natural, healthy ways to get gorgeous. Dianne lives in Marblehead, MA with her husband and 2 rambunctious rescue cats, and spends her time volunteering at the local animal shelter, cooking up a vegetarian storm, yoga-ing and sending witty, wee little messages out to the much-beloved Ecorazzi Twitterverse.

Melanie Jones, MySpace Manager, Little Rock, Arkansas

Melanie Jones (MySpace Manager) lives in North Little Rock, Arkansas, with her husband Matt and their two insanely spoiled yellow labs. They just bought their first house (circa-1952), and are working to make it more energy-efficient and greener (besides just painting the bedroom green). Melanie is the managing editor for At Home in Arkansas, an interior design and lifestyle magazine, and is studying kitchen and bath design in hopes of designing these spaces green one day. She credits her husband’s early obsession with CFLs for jump starting their green life.

FIELD REPORTERS

Anna Griffin was born and raised just outside of London, England, she moved to LA 10 years ago to pursue a career in journalism and broadcasting. Previously a red carpet correspondent, Anna is the Creator and Editor In Chief of Coco Eco Magazine. The magazine was born by combining her experience with her passion of the planet earth and its creatures.

tracy_metro_teamTracy Metro was eco-chic before eco and chic were hyphenated. An avid re-user and a practical-environmentalist, Metro (and yes, that is her real name!) believes “one small change really can change the world.” Tracy loves her gossip and is there any better kind besides green celebrity gossip? She thinks not!

sarah_100Sarah Shewey is the founder and lead producer of Pink Cloud Events, a full-service event production company based in Los Angeles that has clients all over the globe throwing eco-chic events. She is a host for the Green Business Networking group in Santa Monica, and is currently organizing an eco-fashion show event for 2,000 in downtown Los Angeles. You can read about her wacky travels and inspirations on her blog or visit her website for more information about hosting your own green event.
