Restaurant Week FAQ
What is Ecorazzi Eats Restaurant Week?
Ecorazzi Eats Restaurant Week will feature deals at vegan, vegetarian, and sustainable restaurants nationwide (and beyond?) October 12-19, 2011.
When is Ecorazzi Eats Restaurant Week?
October 12 – 19, 2011
How does it work?
Sustainable, vegetarian, and vegan restaurants have signed up to participate in Ecorazzi Eats Restaurant Week. Each restaurant has created their own offer for you. Offers vary from free appetizer or dessert to a percentage off of your total bill.
How do I get the offer at the restaurant?
Because a wide variety of food establishments from across the country are participating in Ecorazzi Eats Restaurant Week, you may want to call ahead to confirm the offer will be valid at the time you are planning on arriving. As with any promotion, we suggest that you mention it to your server immediately, prior to ordering.
In case of any confusion with the establishment, you may want to keep www.ecorazzieats.com handy on your smartphone or have a print out handy (Eek! Save the trees and only print your local listings!)
Please let us know immediately via our contact form if you experience any issues of a restaurant not honoring their offer.
Are there prizes involved?
Of course! We’re doing a fantastic giveaway through Facebook and a Twitter Photo Contest. Additionally, we’ll be giving out restaurant gift certificates to certain people actively participating in the restaurant week.
I don’t see my favorite restaurants on here, can you get them involved?
We’d love to try! Fill out our Suggest a Restaurant form and we’ll contact them. We’d also suggest that you drop them a note on their Facebook page or Twitter with a link to www.ecorazzieats.com so that they can check it out for themselves. Participation in this event is free for restaurants, so we hope that many will join!
What kind of establishments are participating?
Ecorazzi Eats Restaurant Week is open to any type of food establishment from fine dining to food trucks and from quick service to catering. The establishment should either be 100% vegan, 100% vegetarian, have extensive vegetarian options, or be sustainably focused.
How do you define Sustainable, Vegetarian, and Vegan?
Sustainable restaurants will have a focus on organic, local food. They may be focused on operating in an environmentally friendly way. These restaurants may not have a vegetarian theme. It is best to check with the restaurant before-hand.
100% Vegetarian restaurants do not serve any meat or fish products, while 100% Vegan restaurants do not serve any animal products whatsoever. Please note that the classification of the restaurants was determined by the restaurant owners.
What do the $ signs stand for?
The price ranges are an estimate based on a meal, drink, tax and tip for one person.
$: < $10
$$: $11 – $30
$$$: $31 – 50
$$$$: > $50
Why are you organizing this week?
Ecorazzi Eats Restaurant Week is part of Ecorazzi’s 5 year anniversary celebration. This is the first time that we have really tried to offer our readers something “offline” to participate in. We know that our readers love food, and thought this would be a fun way to offer you something enjoyable to do with your friends!
