What makes McAdams’ side project even more appealing is that she appears to understate her celebrity status, instead allowing the ever-changing green lifestyle messages featured on her website to take center stage.
Aspiring to lighten her own personal carbon footprint one day at a time, the natural beauty reportedly bikes whenever possible, is obsessive about unplugging vampire energy suckers, eschews air conditioning and is a huge proponent of tree planting organizations. As Ecorazzi reported back in 2009, McAdams chooses to “look at the world through a green lens” by altering her mindset and hopes that her website will inspire others to follow suit.
