Obama Reverses Bush’s Endangered Species Act Ruling
President Bush passed a lot of dangerous legislation while in office, including a last-minute ruling that allowed groups like the Army Corp. of Engineers and the Federal Highway Admin to build new projects without having to check with experts on whether it would threaten endangered species. Thanks to one Mr. Barack Obama, that ridiculous ruling is no longer!
"Throughout our history, there's been a tension between those who've sought to conserve our natural resources for the benefit of future generations, and those who have sought to profit from these resources," the President said in March. "This is a false choice. With smart, sustainable policies, we can grow our economy today and preserve the environment."
