Razzi Snap: Charlie Sheen Saves Pups with Wedding Vows

Charlie Sheen, the hollywood bad boy that Denise Richards apparently just couldn’t turn good, got married (again) to a real estate investor, Brooke Mueller, last week. In lieu of china and candlesticks, the couple asked guest to make donations to Chrysalis: Changing Lives Through Jobs, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping homeless and disadvantaged people get jobs, and Pugs ‘N Pals, which rescues dogs in Southern California.

Nick Lachey will be hosting the third annual Tacoma All-Star Celebrity Weekend September 21-22 to support the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Tacoma General Hospital and the Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital Parenting Partnership Program (say that one three times fast). So far $1.4 million has been raised for these charities in the past; this year Nick and Sarah Larson, Ryan Stiles, Vanessa Minnillo and other celebs will be playing softball at Cheney Stadium in hopes of raising even more.

The Detroit Red Wings are hosting the Ilitch Charities Celebrity Golf Classic today. Tim Allen, Dave Coulier, John Cusack, Cuba Gooding Jr., Thorsten Kaye, John McGinley, D.B. Sweeney and others will be playing to support Ilitch Charities, which supports community programs in community development, human services, education and recreation. 

Ben Affleck, Seth Meyers, Paul Rudd and Sarah Silverman will be playing at the PPA’s “Poker in the Ballpark” charity tournament tomorrow in support of the Paralyzed Veterans of America. Wait, check out that lineup again. I would love to be a fly on the wall to just hear the conversations between these people. Can you imagine?

Australian singer and soap star Imogen says it’s nice to be sexy for a cause. “One of the funny things about doing PETA work and other campaigns and then doing a lot of mens’ mag stuff is that I’ve always had this internal debate. Am I being a powerful female or, as some people might think, objectifying myself to men? But it’s been nice to do some sexy images that have a strong message.”

Britney Spears Comes to the Rescue

Britney Spears hasn’t been making many appearances lately, unless you count the ones in court rooms, but last night the former teen idol stepped out of the shadow of chaos and into the light of a good cause.

Looking quite well, smiling for photographers, and mingling with other celebrities, she attended the Generation Rescue benefit fundraiser.

Generation Rescue follows a mission to “continue to discover and share the truth with families about the potential cause of their child’s Neurological Disorders so they can focus on effective treatments.”

The event was hosted by Jim Carrey and girlfriend, Jenny McCarthy.

Other celebrities to attend include Hugh Hefner, Holly Madison and his other two girlfriends, as well as Charlie Sheen and his wife, Brooke Mueller.

Seth Rogan, James Franco Bring ‘Fake’ Weed To The MTV Movie Awards

Kids, don’t smoke pot. And don’t ever, ever smoke fake pot. This was the message presented by actors Seth Rogan and James Franco last night at the MTV Movie Awards as they promoted their new film, The Pineapple Express. Even though the two claimed the giant joint they were smoking was fake, audience members said the sweet smell wafting through the air definitely proved otherwise. The seventh annual Butterfly Ball – which helps the homeless and others find work — took place Saturday night in Los Angeles. Celebs in attendance included Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, cast members from Grey’s Anatomy, Charlie Sheen, Topher Grace, and many more.
