Soleil Moon Frye, previously famous for her role as Punky Brewster on the 80’s sitcom, is expanding the scope of her green baby empire with the launch of a new eco-clothing line for tots.

The new threads will carry the same name as her green baby shop in Los Angeles, The Little Seed. Moon and her business partner Paige Goldberg Tolmach decided to create the new line after having trouble figuring out what to put on their kids. “Both our kids had allergies, and we wanted to create an eco-alternative that they could wear that would be incredible, it would be colorful,” she told The Insider. “We wanted to kind of spin the concept of organic upside down and really create something that was vibrant and beautiful and colorful and filled with life, and happy and cheerful. From beginning to end it’s been the most amazing process.”

Among the celebrities in attendance at Moon’s launch for the clothing line were Ashton Kutcher and wife Demi Moore. Look for the new Little Seed eco-clothing to hit the site soon.

Further justifying PETA’s selection as the number-one worst dressed celebrity in Hollywood, Demi Moore has landed on magazine pages promoting Helena Rubinstein mascara — while draped in leopard fur.

The 46-year-old is ridiculously airbrushed in the ad — to the point where its unclear why they just didn’t go with someone younger. Perhaps they couldn’t find anyone else willing to drape a dead animal on their shoulders – or maybe those leeches really are working. Either way, I guess that “compassion attraction” Ashton Kutcher talked about doesn’t extend to animals.

Frye and Goldberg have been married for 10 years.

In honor of the occasion, the couple planted a a pomegranate tree in the garden — and also sent guests home with their very own trees to plant. “Besides the days my children were born – and my first wedding – it was the best night of my life,” Frye, who co-owns L.A.’s eco-friendly children’s boutique, The Little Seed, tells PEOPLE.

Said a source to the British newspaper, the Mail on Sunday, “Demi and Ashton were actually building houses with tin roofs and schlepping (moving) breeze blocks in the midday sun. Ashton’s father is a carpenter so he has some experience.”

Now if only more Hollywood parents would teach service and volunteerism to their children. That way young Hollywood could do community service on their own before it’s mandated by a court.

This was the message presented by actors Seth Rogan and James Franco last night at the MTV Movie Awards as they promoted their new film, The Pineapple Express. Even though the two claimed the giant joint they were smoking was fake, audience members said the sweet smell wafting through the air definitely proved otherwise. On Monday night’s Late Show With David Letterman, actress Demi Moore revealed one of her beauty secrets: detoxifying leeches. The 45-year-old recently traveled to Australia for a full-body cleanse — which included the aide of “highly trained medical leeches” being placed in her bellybutton.

“You feel [them] bite down on you, and you want to go, ‘You bastard!’ and then you relax and watch it swell up,” she said. “They have a little enzyme that when they are biting down in you, it gets released in your blood and generally you bleed for quite a bit – and your health is optimized,” she added. “It detoxifies your blood – I’m feeling very detoxified right now.”

While you might be grimacing a bit, it should be noted that leeches have commonly been used throughout history for a variety of medical conditions. We’re not necessarily buying the whole “detox” claims, but according to Wikipedia, there are some great uses for the little critters — including helping those in the aftermath of plastic surgery.

“Leeches reduce blood coagulation, relieve venous pressure from pooling blood, especially after plastic surgery, and stimulate circulation in reattachment operations for organs with critical blood flow, such as eye lids, fingers, and ears.”

So there ya have it. Leeches. Tell all your friends what you learned today — but if you’re interested in detoxifying, we’d recommend something else.

The event was intended to raise money for Raising Malawi and UNICEF.  However, some members of media are claiming that this star-studded gala was more about promoting the Kabbalah Centre and the new Gucci store than spotlighting charity. Indeed, CEO of Gucci, Mark Lee, footed the bill for the evening and described it as “a celebration of the fashion house’s new store.” Still, both Madonna and Gucci say the new store had nothing to do with the real purpose of the evening: raising money for charity.

Celebrities like Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Demi Moore, Drew Barrymore, Gwyneth Paltrow, Gwen Stefani and Jennifer Lopez shelled out 10,000 dollars a plate for the gourmet dinner (not veg… in case you care). There was also a silent auction with prizes like: a private soccer game with David Beckam, and dance classes with Madonna. At the end of the evening, the gala raised about 3.7 million dollars which will be split evenly between Raising Malawi and UNICEF.

Here’s what I think: Sure, Gucci was probably wildly excited to get all that great exposure. Sure, Madonna probably had some Kabbalah pamphlets or leaflets or scroll papers or whatever they use on hand at the event. I understand that people are frustrated because it was held at the U.N (which should be a non-biased forum), but it’s not like they were tying the guests up in Gucci scarves and making them chant, Like A Virgin. All they were doing was raising money for a couple great charities-which does generally require some sort of corporate sponsorship. So I say, “You famous people better rock on with your bad, charity-loving selves.”  GO TEAM FAMOUS!!!!!!!!
