Kristen Bell Helps Invisible Children By Signing Autographs For Frozen Yogurt

About a week ago I saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall and even though Kristen Bell’s character reminded me, rather freakishly, of some chick I use to date (no names, but I think a few of you know who it is), my heart still went pitter-patter for Bell’s all-around genuine loveliness.
You see, Kristen first came to my attention when I learned that she was an outspoken vegetarian celebrity (basically a speciality of mine these days), and while that’s totally sexy in and of itself, I really fell in love after I found out she was a member of the Red Cross National Celebrity Cabinet and actively campaigned to raise money for the Mclovin’ Fund. So I wasn’t surprised at all to learn that K-Bell just keeps on giving!
On Saturday August 2nd (as in like tomorrow), Kristen will be appearing at the frozen yogurt giant Red Mango’s Weyburn Avenue location from 1-3pm to celebrate the 1-year anniversary of the store in Los Angeles. Bell will be signing autographs to hungry yogurt-eaters who’s dimes and nickels will be donated to Invisible Children — a foundation hat aims to create awareness regarding the plight of the people of northern Uganda by educating and inspiring individuals to use their voices for change.
Invisible Children was started by three filmmakers who wanted to use the power of stories to change lives around the world. In the past the charity has been praised by bands such as Fall Out Boy and Paramore who both helped give voice to Northern Uganda’s child soldiers.
Now I know you guys might be shocked that little old vegan me would be promoting any sort of yogurt activity, but Kristen is a long-time animal supporter and as many of you pointed out in the comment section of my Heather Mills story, humans are animals too! So if you DO eat dairy then why not stop by Red Mango’s Weyburn Avenue location tomorrow from 1-3 for a little Kristin Bell one-on-one time? Oh and tell her your friends at Ecorazzi sent you!
