We know that celebs are giving up their footwear for the causes they love; now they’re giving up eye wear, too. Today at 10 AM eBay will commence the Sightsavers Auction ‘Specs Appeal’, in which Ewan McGreggor, Michael Caine, and other celebs will be giving up their sexy specs to this charity to help alleviate blindness and preserve sight for people in Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean.

According to designer Kelly LaPlante, “Green is a standard, not a style.” Her new book, Ecologique, features some of her custom celebrity eco designs, including a sunroom for Amy Smart and a restored chair for Michael Rappaport.

Here at Ecorazzi we make a valiant effort to keep you up to date on the latest “naked celebrity ala PETA” news. Most recently, Jenna Jameson encouraged people to pleather themselves (get it) to help promote fake leather. Well now Jenna is putting some porn star pressure on Charlize Theron to get naked!

Jameson said: “It would be amazing if Charlize Theron did one of our ‘Go naked’campaigns. I saw her just the other day and she just blew me away. Charlize is so sexy – I would totally love for her to go naked. I’d die for that.”

Could it happen? We know that Theron is a humanitarian, environmentalist and an overall green lover, but does she have the guts to bear it all for the animals? Only time will tell!

Some people complain, “Pamela Anderson is soooo porny. How can anyone take her animal rights work seriously?” Well those people (not me…I love Pam) are gonna LOVE this new development on the naked woman/animal rights scene!

Retired porn star Jenna Jameson is getting all pleathered up for PETA’s anti-leather campaign next week during Los Angeles Fashion Week. The ex-porn star is going totally Bettie Page in a black wig and pleather bikini…proving that you can get that 100 percent leather look without that 100 percent leather cruelty!

Jameson is no stranger to pleather (come on…she’s a porn star) and admits:

“Anybody who knows me knows that I’ve kind of lived half my life in it. I love the idea of having choices outside of leather. The outfit that I’m wearing in the ad is so sexy that I suggest if people want to have a better time in the bedroom – then please explore the pleather side.”
