The UK Guardian has posted an interview with Joely Richardson — star of FX’s series Nip/Tuck — on guilty green secrets, nice green things, and what she’ll do when the floods come. With questions like that, I’m curious to know who she’ll eat first when, according to Ted Turner, we all become cannibals. Here are some highlights:

What is your guiltiest green secret?

Hand-woven cashmere. I love the feeling of softness next to my skin.

If you could buy any green gadget what would it be?

Solar panels. They make the most of a natural resource and help reduce reliance on other forms of power.

What was the last nice green thing you did?

I recently went on a trip to Malawi to generate awareness for the Ariel “Be Water Wise” campaign which aims to donate 10 litres of safe drinking water to children in developing countries for every pack sold. Seeing first-hand how children struggle to survive without access to safe water made me really appreciate how fortunate I am, and how even a small contribution can make a difference to those less fortunate.

Check out the rest of the interview here.
