Stars “Do Something” To Show Their Support For Protect Seals Campaign

Take one look at a majestic seal pup and you’ll understand why slaughtering even one of these beautiful creatures for their fur is an absolute travesty. In the past three years alone, more than one million baby seals have been clubbed or shot to death and over 95 percent of those were just days or weeks old.

To help spotlight this despicable trade, stars like Jessica Szohr, Kate Flannery, Katrina Bowden, CariDee English, Gracie Mercedes, Damien Fahey, Susie Castillo and the New Kids on the Block are teaming up with the Humane Society of the United States to show their support for the Protect Seals campaign. Celeb Signed BugE to Benefit Autism Speaks

Over 100 celebs have signed a cool little one-person “all-weather” electric vehicle, and it’s up for charity auction on eBay. The Harvey Coachworks BugE is currently available for a starting bid of $10,000, with 30% of the proceeds of the auction benefiting Autism Speaks.The auction goes through December 20, and right now is a great bargain. These little electric “moto” type vehicles normally cost $9295. The auction version, however, is a pimped out one-of-a-kind shiny gold version, with celebrity signatures covering the exterior (including The Soup’s Joel McHale, The Bachelorette’s Trista & Ryan Sutter, Queer Eye’s Jai Rodriguez, and The Office’s Kate Flannery).

The BugE goes 20-40 miles on a charge and reaches top speeds of 50 mph. Go on…start bidding!
