“Back in 2007, Michigan Brewing Company (MBC) switched to biodiesel to power the steam generator that produces their beers. MBC also uses some biodeisel to power their employee vehicles and recycles their waste mash by giving it to local farmers to feed their hogs.”

While it’s great to see that Rock’s beer is produced using biodiesel, we still have little respect for a guy who brags about having “every kind of animal” in his wardrobe and wanting “to go to war with PETA”. Rumor is, it’s one of the reasons Pamela Anderson broke up with the guy. The next time that happens, at least he’ll have some beer to drown his sorrows in.

“Hell hath no fury like a man scorned,” PETA told the site Gigwise. “Though his relationship with PETA pal Pam Anderson ended years ago, Kid Rock is clearly still wearing his heart on his fur sleeve. Maybe one day this kid will grow up and grow out of his cruel wardrobe.”

See what they did there? They turned the conversation back to Kid’s failed relationship with Pamela Anderson. For those of you that were looking for a High School-esque banter to erupt, prepare for the mud to fly. We’re thinking penis sizes and who has the coolest car will be covered next.

The rocker also spoke out against PETA’s previous red paint campaigns and urged the group to try the same protest with him. He adds: “I’m just willing the animal rights protesters to chuck some red paint on me. I understand people’s problems with it but to throw paint on someone is just wrong. They do it to little Hollywood actresses who can’t defend themselves.” Doesn’t he know that flour’s the new paint?

The producers of the new documentary Rap Therapy, a film about using hip-hop as a tool to steer teens away from violence, have challenged Eminem and Kid Rock to a freestyle rap battle. The winner gets to donate $1 million to the charity of his choice.

Other celebrities featured in the documentary include 50 Cent, Diddy, Anne Hathaway, Fergie, and Tom Cruise.

Between womanizing, violent lyrics and fur-wearing sickness, I have to say that I’m not very attracted to this bit of news. But perhaps some good will come from these two kings of controversy facing off for charity.

Luckily, singer Kid Rock came to the rescue after reading about the thievery and donated $10,000 of his own cash to purchase new supplies. 

Troop leader Bill Stott, confirmed that Rock’s generosity would be more than enough to replace the stolen goods and that any leftover money would go to charity. Scott said ”A Scout earns his way. The community is giving to us, so we want to give back to the community.”

All I’m saying is that if I stole that stuff I’d probably stay away from mountains for the next few years. Karma’s a bitch!

So take that N train downtown and come celebrate the end of 2007 with the lot of us. Did I mention Hannah Montana will be there?
