Well now Ecorazzi has all the details and wants you to get out there and bike your little butt off!

The event will be held this Saturday, September 20th at 10 am. Participates will meet at Manhattan’s South Street Seaport’s Pier 17 where Modine and Olympian Sharon Seagrave will kick off the ride.

Besides the biking, the day includes a Luke Haas concert, a speech by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and prizes such as Puma “Glow” Bicycles and a Segway. Plus lets not forget about all the awesome celebs that are getting involved, like Kevin Nealon, Heather Graham, Lucy Liu, Gina Gershon and many, many more.

Modine said: “The environmental situation is a great opportunity for us all to work together to find solutions. Bicycle for a Day is just that— citizens of the world joining together globally and acting locally.”

Yesterday Ecorazzi told you that Clay Aiken was helping UNICEF promote The Tap Project — a campaign aimed at providing safe drinking water to children around the world. Shortly after posting, the comments came rolling in with support for the pop star turned Spamalot actor. Say what you want about Aiken…but that kid has some serious fans.

Well now another UNICEF ambassador, Lucy Liu, is asking Americans to pitch in during World Water Week and pay the extra $1 for a glass of tap water to help save children’s lives in Africa. Liu is particularly aware of the problem, having just returned from Cote d’Ivoire in Africa — an area lacking clean drinking water.

Liu says, “If you go to a restaurant and they’d give you tap water for free, they’re asking you to donate a dollar for the tap water. One dollar will provide water for 40 children for one day, which is incredible. It’s kind of great – you get to go out and enjoy food with people and you get to give back in such a small and simple way.”

To learn more about The Tap Project visit their website and find a participating restaurant.

This handsome hollywood gent is joining a long lineage of Hollywood supporters including Lucy Lieu, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Alyssa Milano in supporting UNICEF as a goodwill ambassador. Orlando Bloom recently took part in a four day UNICEF-supported visit to Nepal where he visited several programs for children in the western districts of Kaski and Chitwan.

According to reports:

In Pokhara village, Mr. Bloom mingled with over three dozen blind girls and boys. He also played a small role in a mini-drama the children were recording that day for the UNICEF-supported radio programme ‘Saathi Sanga Manka Kura’ (Chatting with My Best Friend).

Looks like a friendly game of balloons and bubbles at a Himalayan village brought out Orlando’s inner child, and probably a few smiles from some children in the process.

With all the do goodness running around this holiday season, it is hard to keep up with the many celebrities and the causes that they support. While Angie and Brad clearly steal the humanitarian headlines, we discovered a whole slew of new celebs supporting amazing organizations from this week’s US weekly. A few highlights and some organizations that run close to celebrity hearts include:

Lucy Liu has been an active ambassador to UNICEF since 2005 and raised more than $250,000 by auctioning her own artwork.

Courtney Cox became involved with The Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation which raises money for a rare genetic condition. She became involved over three years ago when her manager’s nephew was diagnosed.

Kristin Davis got involved with Oxfam America after the 2004 tsunami and is a big fan of the OxfamAmericaUnwrapped.com program which provides socially conscious gift giving solutions.

Claire Danes keeps her involvement close to home by helping teachers in needy public schools post project proposals on Donorschoose.org. Attending NYC public schools in her early teens, Danes became involved in 2004 after first being introduced to the organization.

Usher believes in getting physically involved and is helping bring displaced families from Katrina back home through Usher’s New Look program which has already helped hundreds of families.

Check out more from from Eva Mendes, John Legend, Leslie Bibb, and Eric Szmanda in US Weekly’s celebs and their causes on newsstands now.
