Clooney and Zellweger Arrive By Train For Leatherheads Premiere

Before the good times of traffic jams, smog, and GEICO, Americans relied on mass transportation — specifically trains –  to travel around the country. Yesterday, George Clooney and Renee Zellweger paid tribute to that tradition by participating in a promotional whistle-stop train tour for their new movie, Leatherheads. Both stars wore period clothing to reflect the movie’s 1920s setting. Besides their stop in Maysville, Ky., near Clooney’s hometown — they also have plans to hit Salisbury, N.C., and Greenville, S.C for additional premieres. For more, jump here.

Celebrities Donate Gowns For The 27 Dresses Charity Auction

What do Kylie, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Amy Winehouse and Renee Zellweger have in common? They’re all donating gowns to the 27 Dresses Celebrity Dress Auction…starting today! 

The auction is going live on eBay tonight at 7pm and will help raise funds for the Lavender Trust charity- a group supporting women suffering with breast cancer. All the dresses will be sold on eBay at three-day intervals until the release of the film.

Many of the donations are well known red carpet dresses, and straight off the backs of people like Mariah Carey, Geri Halliwell, Thandie Newton, Naomi Campbell and Heidi Klum. 

Obviously, the auction comes just in time for the release of Katherine Heigl’s latest film, 27 Dresses, which will hit nationwide March 27th (insert obvious plug here).
