She’s been mentioned before for her participation in the 2008 Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project. She drives a hybrid, composts, recycles, and just recently donated a song to the Bonneville Environmental Foundation. For this donation, she was given thirty green tags, which equals out to one mega-watt of solar energy, offsetting the CO2 produced in the making of her album.

Tristan Prettyman is quite the multi-talented artist.

And if you haven’t checked out her music yet, I highly recommend you do. Prettyman’s sophomore album, Hello, is full of fantastic music. It seems as though she’s found a way to mesh folk, blues, and a dash of rock/surf-rock in just the right, ear-pleasing, head-bobbing way. A track of particular note would most definitely have to be “War Outta Peace”, the same track she donated to the EBF.
