Zac Efron Delivers Holiday Toys To Local Children’s Hospital

Tweens – get ready to swoon! Zac Efron made a couple of sick kids super happy this week when he made a surprise visit to the children’s ward at a Los Angeles hospital.

Efron brought with him $10,000 worth of toys and toured the wards for two hours, giving out presents, signing autographs and posing for pictures with staff.

A source tells Usmagazine.com, “He really spent time bonding with each of the children and their families. The kids were smitten and beaming from ear to ear. Some of the kids couldn’t even speak, but they had the widest grins and would sit as close to him as possible. Zac was super gracious and could not have been more kind and truly happy to be there.”

So a big ho, ho, ho to Zac Efron from all of us here at Ecorazzi! Keep up the good work!

Cast Of High School Musical Wastes 379 Rolls Of Toilet Paper On Zac Efron Prank

Apparently, Zac Efron is a bit of a prankster. While filming the High School Musical trilogies, Efron was notorious for throwing water balloons at cast members when they least expected it. So obviously the cast was pissed and wanted to get back at ZAC! In the video below, the supporting cast reveals they’ve covered the inside of Zac’s trailer with 379 roles of toilet paper. WTF?

Not to be a party pooper, but each year millions of trees are cut down to make simple paper products like toilet paper — trees we can’t afford to waste. Furthermore, the chlorine bleach used to whiten most toilet paper products create dangerous toxins such as dioxin, furans and other organochlorines that have been linked to causing cancer, birth defects, and developmental and reproductive disorders. While pranking is always cool, responsible pranking is also way important. Come on cast of HSM…set the example!

Leona Lewis Strikes A Pose For The Elephant Project

Leona Lewis might be PETA’s Sexiest Vegetarian of 2008, but that doesn’t mean her work stops with animals! Leona recently lent her famous face to the Elephant Project – an organization that raises money and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association.

The Elephant Foundation was started by David Niederhoffer after he watched his grandfather suffer with the disease and decided to take action. To raise money, David has celebrities pose with a stuffed elephant and sign an Elephant Project card which is then auctioned off. The winner of the auction receives an 8×10 of their chose star, a signed card and the stuffed animal. So far Hollywood hotshots like Zac Efron, Adam Sandler, Julie Andrews, and MANY more have donated their time to help raise over 11,000 dollars for the foundation.

The Summer 2008 round of Elephant Project auctions began yesterday with five to six auctions going live each day until Sunday, July 27th. So hurry on over to ElephantProject.org and bid, bid, bid!

Zac Efron Is High On Water Conservation, Joins Bloom, McConaughey

According to Star magazine, Zac Efron is not the type to take showers often. The High School Musical star is in good company. Both Orlando Bloom and Matthew McConaughey are big into water conservation as well. From the article,

“‘Zac isn’t a big fan of showering,’ an HSM3 set insider says. ‘It’s so gross, because Zac loves to work out and plays basketball all the time — and then goes days without showering. When he gets lazy, he likes to clean himself with baby wipes!’”

Uh huh.
