Top 5 Yummy Green Celeb Restaurants: Jake Gyllenhaal’s Organic Dream

Of all the celebrities on this list, Jake Gyllenhaal is perhaps the most in love with food. The actor, who has twice guested on The Food Network’s Molto Mario, is a long time foodie who as a teenager washed dishes for well known chef Marco Canora at Tom Colicchio’s Craft in New York.

Back in April, Jake announced that he was scouting locations in Los Angeles for a new all-natural organic eatery with long-time childhood friend, sous chef Chris Fischer. Obviously, they’re going for an Italian-theme with the cooking — further enhanced by a “cycling holiday in Tuscany” with girlfriend Reese Witherspoon to brainstorm menu ideas. Tough life, right?

Gyllenhaal expects to open his new green digs before he turns 30 — so expect to be sitting down to something all-organic and saucy sometime in the next three years.
