Matthew McConaughey has taken a gig promoting beef for the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA). When I first heard about the radio spot, I considered it a non-story. After all, McConaughey has garnered much attention for attributes not easily captured in a radio spot. I even wondered why the NCBA had wasted its money.
