The current article you are reading does not reflect the views of the current editors and contributors of the new Ecorazzi

It’s no secret that Ecorazzi hearts Sea Shepherd in a pretty big way. Cool boats, an awesome goal and a fearless crew are just some of the reasons we think the gang totally rocks.

On Friday, April 30, 2010 NYC residents will have the chance to join Captain Paul Watson and the crew of Sea Shepherd Conservation Society for a special fundraiser at Collective Hardware.

Fresh from Operation Waltzing Matilda in the Antarctic protecting the whales, on their way to the Mediterranean to kick off Operation BlueRage defending the bluefin tuna, Sea Shepherd will be in town to raise a little cash and have some serious fun.

The event will feature delicious food from Candle Cafe and Vegan Treats, well-known personalities like Princess Superstar and author/Super Size Me gal Alexandra Jamieson and a chance to spend some quality time with Watson and the crew…and us!

Wanna make sure you get a ticket? Stop by SeaShepherd.org/NYC and find out all the details. We’re looking forward to seeing you there!

Don’t blame vegans for the shame you feel about using animals

The shame Carly Lewis claims veganism casts over her is more likely the ghosts of moral uncertainty, spectres that are more likely fish than cows, wondering how morality can possibly be used as ammunition in favour of murder.
