Chris Noth may drink tea, but Rob Zombie is all about the coffee beans!

Zombie has just released a new line of organic and fair-trade coffee, featuring two varieties: Hellbilly Brew Organic French Roast and the Hellbilly Brew Organic Peru. Besides being 100 percent organic, both blends are certified fair-trade, which we love, love, love!

A description of the Peru blend reads:

“From the tall peaks of the Andes to the tropical forests of the Amazon Basin, Peruvian coffees are as distinct as their birthplace. Featuring 100% Certified Organic, Fair Trade Certified beans, this incredible single-origin coffee supports the battle against social and environmental challenges. Medium-bodied with a tangy fruit finish, our lively Peru has been hand-crafted to realize its complete flavor potential.”

Caffeine plus celebrity plus an environmental message?! We’re in love.

Pre-orders are available now through Zombie’s website, and the coffee will begin shipping on December 27th, 2010. Check it out and tell us what you think!

Don’t blame vegans for the shame you feel about using animals

The shame Carly Lewis claims veganism casts over her is more likely the ghosts of moral uncertainty, spectres that are more likely fish than cows, wondering how morality can possibly be used as ammunition in favour of murder.
