He’s the sexiest celebrity vegetarian on the planet according to PETA and he’s staying that way even if he needs to gain weight.

Oscar winner Jared Leto is gearing up to play the Joker in the upcoming ‘The Suicide Squad’ movie and that includes putting on some serious muscle at the gym.

“Do you mind if I eat a little?” Leto asked a Billboard reporter during an interview for the magazine. “I’m trying to gain a lot of weight. It means I have to eat every couple of hours — and I’m terrible at eating a lot.”

After he was given the OK, Leto went on to snack on some vegan tacos, showing that he won’t be giving up his vegan ways to put on some muscle.

The actor, who snacked on vegan pancakes to celebrate his Oscar nomination hasn’t shared much of his diet on social media but he has posted a photo of the progress he’s making.

It’s a fact that veins stick out alot when someone has low bodyfat and is on STEROIDS. Look it up pendejo.

Yo smart one, does that mean I’m being fed steroids without my knowledge? I don’t even have a really low BF% I’m barely under 15% and you can see my forearm and bicep veins and shoulders while working out. You go look it up, anyone that knows anything about fitness will tell you he looks natural. Plus at his weight veins will pop out. I’ve been 9% and you could see everything. It comes down to the individuals body composition and water retention. That and lighting coupled with the obvious fact he took the picture while pumped. It’s easy to throw out the steroids excuse when you don’t have the determination to get in shape yourself.

Mr. Leto already showed himself to be one of the most beautiful men on the planet way back when he did “My So-Called Life.” He had the courage to let himself look wasted, already in “Requiem for a Dream,” as well as of course for his last terrific performance opposite Matthew McConaughey. I am very glad to know he’s vegan, and that he hasn’t lost his physical charms one little bit.

Veganism deserves better than constantly being considered something to be bribed, dared or loosely entered into.

Month one of “the year of the vegan”

News outlets are abuzz with the promise of new vegan products, celebs, and services and how that is somehow a fresh affirmation that our world is one turn closer to being fully free from animal use.

What About: “No-Kill” Eggs?

The reason for these advancements is not a sense of justice – because that can only mean going vegan – but is primarily driven by economics.

Don’t blame vegans for the shame you feel about using animals

The shame Carly Lewis claims veganism casts over her is more likely the ghosts of moral uncertainty, spectres that are more likely fish than cows, wondering how morality can possibly be used as ammunition in favour of murder.
