Indonesian Mayor blames milk and the Internet on creating gay babies and youth

Here at Ecorazzi, we can’t stress enough that milk and dairy consumption is a horrible idea for a whole myriad of reasons. It’s abusive and exploitative to cows, it’s taking a toll on the well being of the planet, and it’s just not all that healthy. According to one Indonesian Mayor, giving babies milk formula from cows is also a poor choice because it’s turning babies gay.

Wait, what? Everyone knows gay babies are created when a drag queen Fairy Godmother like Honey LaBronx comes and pays a visit to their new Gay Godbaby. That’s just science.

“To create Indonesian children that are healthy smart and competitive, the most important thing is, from the beginning, to provide them adequate nutrition, especially breastfeeding,” said Mayor of Tangerang, Ariel R. Wismansyah, and then placed some of the blame of homosexuality on milk formula and instant noodles, “It’s no wonder there are so many LGBT.” He was speaking at a seminar geared towards parents in Tangerang, and the anti-gay tirade didn’t stop there.”God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Asep,” he reportedly told the audience. Huh. The Adam and Steve joke stopped being relevant back in, say, W. Bush’s presidency, but nobody said mayors have to be clever.

Wismansyah also named technology as another huge cause of spreadin’ the gay, and encouraged parents to keep tabs of their children’s internet activities. LGBTQ Indonesians are highly subject to physical and psychological abuse, and according to the Telegraph, a Pew research poll reported 93% of Indonesia’s population reject homosexuality.

Dangerous comments from a dangerous person. Breast is best, and dairy is scary… but not because of anything related to being gay. Now that’s just silly.
