The Vegan Big Mac is Coming to Chicago Vegan Food and Drink Festival

Like us on Facebook:

Anticipation is mounting for the first annual Chicago Vegan Food and Drink Festival. With only two months until the big event, we’re excited to begin announcing our incredible lineup of vendors, starting with DOOMIE’S and their vegan big mac.

DOOMIE’S will be serving up their incredible imitation fast-food favourite for our Chicago festival diners. This towering portion of vegan patties, pickles, lettuce, cheese, onion, sesame buns, and that oh-so-secret sauce will be available only at the festival. Y’know…unless you’re prepared to fly to LA or Toronto to get one.

Come see what the hype, long lines, and heaps of vegan and non-vegan praise is all about. Tickets to the Chicago Vegan Food and Drink Festival went on sale last week, and are already  over a quarter sold. Get yours at the early bird rate of $10 here!

An excerpt from my latest piece “A Letter of Love for my Fanny Lynn Busby”

    From her buxom bosom
    To her flaxen curls
    From her ample posterior
    To her blushing cheeks

I could wax on and on
    From dusk til dawn
    Of my dear Fanny Lynn
    Again and again

    So please beware
    My sweet Fanny fair
    The whispering bottom

    For it may
    On any given day
    Release a hot one

France’s ban of faux-meat branding won’t stop veganism

I’ll take “mycoproteinous food tube” over a tube of dead pig any day.

Concerned about endangered animals? Stop eating them

Methods of animal conservation that support the exploitation of animals don’t exist for the animals, they exist for human profit.

What you can do if live exports disturb you

The outcry should go further than importation and should be directed at the fact that the animals in question were on their way to slaughter in the first place.
