Vendor list announced for the Chicago Vegan Food & Drink Festival
The Chicago Vegan Food and Drink Festival is coming up fast! So as you prepare your best festival outfit, don’t forget to leave room for all the incredible food and drinks from the vendors we’ve got lined up for you. There’s a complete vendor list available on our festival website, but you can check out a sneak peek of what you’re going to eat way too much of below.
We may be the first 100% outdoor vegan festival in town, but we’ve got some incredible company. A trip to Chicago isn’t complete without a visit to local favourites like; Upton’s Breakroom, The Chicago Diner, Arya Bhavan, and many more. We’ve got some market favourites like Pie, Pie My Darling, The Tiny Vegan, Holcomb Hollow, The Chunky Scones, and others you’ll want to stockpile product from. Rounding out the group, local beverage purveyors like Frog Juice, Bru Chicago and, JuiceRx are keeping us quenched during what we hope will be a beautiful summer day. Expect to find vegan deep dish pizza, nachos, sandwiches, tarts, cookies, pies, kombucha, and more!
North American Vendors
When some of our friends outside of Chicago heard about the fun we had planned for Grant Park, they couldn’t help but tag along. We have Nona Vegan from Toronto taking the trip with us, Portland’s Sizzle Pie meeting us there, and Cinnamon Snail is racing us from NYC. Doomie’s, Southern Fried Vegan, and Charlie’s Brownies are bringing a taste of LA, and the Shimmy Shack food truck is roadtripping over from Michigan. Even Austin’s Vegan Nom experienced FOMO before agreeing to come serve Chicago. They’ll all be in town for one day only, so don’t miss your chance to get to know them! Tacos, the infamous vegan big mac, breakfast pizza, and deep fried mac and cheese await you.
Is it really a festival if there isn’t booze? We’ve taken the guesswork out of finding vegan craft brews, wine, and spirits, and look forward to toasting veganism with new friends. We’ve got Pacific Coast Cider cans, Goose Island Beer, Aquanaut Beer and other craft brews are on tap, Oxford Landing red and white wines, and rumour has it a game of beer pong might just break out.
We’re confident this is one food and drink festival you’re not going to want to miss! It’s not too late to grab a ticket online, as day of tickets will be available at the gate in limited quantities. If the 11k interested people on Facebook are any indication, it’s going to be a big crowd, people! Start training for some marathon eating, and we’ll see you next weekend.
Edited to add that it’s the first 100% vegan outdoor festival, not first 100% vegan festival.
